Accelerate Korea supports global businesses and startups by providing an end-to-end full range of market entry and exit services. One of our current market entry client’s (your employer) is one of the largest and foremost suppliers of accommodation and logistics to the large international sporting federations, international media, event sponsors, multinational corporates and others. 

2. 회사 소개
Our client will be servicing their end-clients out of the PyeongChang region as one of the leading service providers to the PyeongChang Winter Olympics. Their clients include the largest TV Broadcasting Groups who will be hosted at their serviced apartments in PyeongChang and are generally the key executive and crew who are directly involved in the Olympics (no spectators).

They are based in 10 countries globally and have been one of the key service providers for events such as the FiFa World Cup, South Africa, the Summer Olympics in Rio and the upcoming Summer Olympics in Tokyo plus many others.

3. 모집 부분 및 인원, 지원 자격

As THE Account Manager you will work for our client in Seoul and then relocate to PyeongChang.

Expectations:

You are the key person in a very fast moving service environment in the heart of the PyeongChang Winter Olympics, including servicing the most important Olympics Executives and Television Crews.

We support freedom and creativity. The tasks listed hereunder are just an outline of the expected tasks to be performed. You are, however, encouraged to challenge them and propose new, more effective ways to achieve your goals. As an Account Manager you will be responsible for a group of clients (accounts) for which you hold the responsibility of ensuring that they:

  • Have an open and unrestricted channel to communicate with you and our client;

  • Receive all the marketing material, fact sheets and other information required in order to effectively fill the role of an Account Manager, starting with sales;

  • Maintain and build an effective association with clients which will foster a long term mutually beneficial relationship;

  • Assess client needs and requests and ensure they are satisfied in a timely and professional manner. 

| Specific Tasks |

 


 

  • Manage all communication with the accounts allocated to you;

  • Keep databases up-to-date with clients‘ contact and other information;

  • Ensure that the service options delivered to the client are in line with the client’s expectations and brand-rapport;

  • Analyze potential opportunities to grow the account, and develop new accounts;

  • Assist the Global Sales Director with the development of strategies, new product development and the exploitation of opportunities;

  • Meet the targets set for your position (to be set in coordination with the Sales Manager). Potential targets might for example be:

  • Sales targets, based on room nights and turnover;

  • Client and potential client canvassing, communication and contact;

  • Request response time;

  • Request response quality;

| MUST-HAVE Skills and Expertise |

  • Work experience with international clients (and Korean service providers).

  • Fluent in Korean, English (Written / Spoken), other languages a bonus.

  • Driver’s license and be able to work from PyeongChang + own car is a bonus (Minimum 1 year driving experience!)

  • Must be able to handle having very high responsibility!

  • Strong problem solver!

  • Very strong administrative skills!

  • Good understanding of basic bookkeeping and able to provide budgets and presentations to clients!

  • Very service oriented!

  • Very committed, dedicated and passionate for your job!

  • Exceptionally reliable and honest!

| Preferred Profile |

  • Customer care / Account Management experience (Hospitality, Tourism, Events, etc.);

  • Good communication, negotiation and people skills;

  • Ability to work with people, under pressure, and solve problems with an analytical approach;

  • Self-motivated and flexible;

  • Initiative, thoroughness and sense of urgency.

  • MS Office (very good knowledge of Excel, Word and PowerPoint).

4. 근무 조건 및 복지제도
  • Salary + Benefits: NEGOTIABLE

  • Working hours: Full time fixed working hours

(24/7 standby to client’s requests / but will be on rotation with colleagues) From two months before the Olympics the workload will start increasing significantly - prior to that the workload will be up and down, but full time.

  • Contract Type: Fixed term (2017. April ~ 2018. March)

  • Work Location: First in Seoul, then in PyeongChang near the Intercontinental Hotel
